Get Involved

As Catholics, we believe that faith is not simply something to be kept to oneself. It is to be experienced within a community: “For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.” (Matthew 18:20.) At Sacred Heart, we offer plenty of opportunities to celebrate our faith as a community through events where we share in laughter, worship, games, fundraising and more. See the menu to the right to learn more.

Part of the community experience is understanding that we are all called to branch outside our own walls to serve one another: “Amen, I say to you, whatever you did for one of these least brothers of mine, you did for me.” (Matthew 25:40.) We may do this through sharing the gifts God has given us, through prayer, and through outreach and working toward social justice in our world today.

However you want to get involved, here’s the place to do it—and now’s the time! Learn more about each of these opportunities through the menu at the right.

Pastorial Ministries

Pastoral Care Ministry flows from the very ministry of Jesus. Through the various dimensions of this ministry, we try to extend the compassion of the life of Jesus and the Christian community to others. The mission of Pastoral Care is to provide care and healing to those in need through a variety of support groups, one-on-one listening, prayer services, enrichment programs and retreats.

Liturgical Ministries

Liturgy--in particular, sharing in the Body of Christ with one another--is at the heart of our Catholic experience. Through prayer, music and reflection, the community that worships together comes to better Know  the heart of Christ, and to See the face of Christ in one another.

Our weekend liturgies take place at 5:30 p.m., and 7:00 p.m. on. Saturdays and at 9:30 a.m., and 12:30 p.m. on Sundays, .
